New Amana Gas Furnaces
Two-stage gas furnaces built to keep your home warm through whatever North Texas winter brings.
We're an Authorized Dealer of Amana Furnaces
Amana’s current gas furnace lineup features two-stage models rated at 80% AFUE. That number, Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency, tells you how much of the gas your furnace actually converts into heat. At 80%, eighty cents of every dollar you spend on gas goes directly toward warming your home.
Two-stage operation means the furnace runs at a lower, quieter output most of the time and only ramps to full capacity when temperatures really drop. Depending on the model, the blower is either variable-speed for continuous airflow adjustment or a 9-speed ECM for efficient, quiet multi-level operation.
Current Amana Furnace Models

80% AFUE | Two-Stage | Variable-Speed

AR9T80 Two-Stage Gas Furnace
80% AFUE | Two-Stage | 9-Speed ECM
Nine-speed ECM motor with a two-stage gas valve for efficient, quiet operation. Features a self-diagnostic control board and two-speed induced draft blower. California Low NOx compliant models available.
How to Compare Models
If you’re looking at quotes from multiple contractors, two specs matter most: gas valve type and blower motor type.
Gas valve:
- Single-stage runs at full output every time it kicks on
- Two-stage runs at a lower setting most of the time and switches to full output only when demand spikes
Blower motor:
- Variable-speed adjusts airflow continuously (quietest, most efficient)
- Multi-speed has set levels it switches between
- Fixed-speed is simply on or off
When a North Texas freeze hits, your furnace goes from barely running to working overtime in a matter of hours. Two-stage with variable-speed handles that swing without the temperature rollercoaster you get from single-stage equipment.
Warranty Coverage
Amana’s warranty is one of the reasons Air Central chose the brand as its exclusive installation partner. Strong manufacturer coverage means your investment is protected from day one.
The other reason is a direct relationship with equipment reps. When a warranty question comes up, Air Central works with a rep they know personally, not a 1-800 number. That translates to faster answers and smoother resolution for you.
